Look On The Bright Side...

Tonight as I was tucking my little boy into bed we were talking about his day.

You see Daddy had taken him skating for the first time in a few years (only his second time ever) and he was pretty happy with himself.

He said to me, "Mommy, at first I wasn't doing so good and I needed Daddy's help. Then later I was skating by myself and I was so good!"
I told him how impressed I was with him and kissed him goodnight. I said that I loved him and he said the same. He then went on to tell me that he was tired and couldn't talk anymore.

As I started walking out the the room, he turned toward me and said, "Look on the bright side, now we can go ice skating together!"

My heart is full!

What I posted on my message board today...

Dear Team,

I wanted to write and let you all know that this month will be my last month with LP. I have so enjoyed working with each and everyone of you and I hope that we can stay in touch in the years to come!

When a company is in financial trouble they... xxxx ... along the way. This month my commission check was missing a few hundred dollars. I went to log into my instructor account and was shut out of the website. My LP website was also shut down by corporate, therefore I have no way of finding out what is going on, the news, or anything for you.

This month (December 2006) will be my last month with LP as I will be officially resigning by December 31st. If you have any questions please email me privately at ....

Feel free to stay on my http://www.kreativekropping.com/ message board and layout gallery as long as you want! I will keep the LP section up indefinately for your use and I will still have the Kreative Guest area that we can all have fun on playing games and talking about what we love to do, scrapbook!

Love you all, have a Merry Christmas with your families and a successful and full 2007!

Some MORE Digi Pages!

OK, I have really been getting into digi scrapping more and more. With all of the wonderful kits and products out there that are so easy to download and use, I am getting hooked! SO much in fact that I am entertaining opening up my own digi shop with my own kreations! Hopefully be looking for that in the new year!

In the meantime, I am kreating cool things by some great designers! The following layouts are done with kit by a great designer called Amanda Rockwell! Check it out!

Happy Fall Ya'll

Happy Fall Ya'll

So we have been in Texas since June and it has been an interesting transition! We are not quite settled yet as all of our things are still in storage. Looks like we will not be decorating too much this year!

Eventhough we don't have much right now in our leased home, we have each other. We have lots of laughs, and spend quality time together.

In some ways I am enjoying not having all of my worldly posessions and sometimes I just really wish I could have my leather recliner back, lol! Not to mention my scrapbooking stash!

Did this layout with a combination of Leaving Prints
Digital papers and Memory Mixer Software Elements.

Ok, So we changed our minds...

No, we didn't change our minds about moving. In fact I have been so slack on my blogging (slap my hand) that we have already moved and been here for 3 weeks! So we took a loss on our house in Burbank, so unforseen problems, and so we are starting all over again in Texas. Which is OK because David got a great job that pays him more than his job in Hollywood! We are leasing this really nice home in the same area that we plan to build in. The house is 200sf bigger than our house in Burbank, so we are pretty happy, Also the lease payments are like 1/4 of our mortgage payments in Burbank were, so I think we will be able to catch up very fast. The thing we changed our minds on is which house we are going to build. Well, I keep chainging my mind but now I think I know what I want. (We got our deposit back from the one below, I know it's beautiful) This will be the best for us I think! I will post pictures later if that is the one we are really going to go with, hahaha! In the meantime, now that we are here are I feel better about things, I will try to blog more often! Ciao!

No Lego Land From Me! :o(

OK, so today we were all supposed to go to Lego Land! We were to leave this morning at 7am to drive 3 hours down to San Diego. I went to bed with a headache and woke up with a migrain. I was so sad. I knew if I went then I would be so sick all day and stuck 3 hours away from home and throwing up. I let the boys go together and I stayed at home. Went back to bed.... The DARN dogs kept barking and waking me up so I called them in and made them sleep in my bed. They usually just stay under the covers. Then David calls me at 10:30, I was still sleeping. The phone rings 5 times. Then he calls again because I didn't answer it. Goll, this means that an agent wants to show the house for sure. So, I answered the phone, and yes, an agent wanted to come over in 45 minutes. I was a bit upset because in my condition I would now have to pick up everything that everone else left laying around from the day before. I was felling a little better, so I did that and took the dogs out to my favorite fast food place, Baja Fresh.

Now I am just on here taking it easy because I am off to Dallas tomorrow to pick out all of the colors, floors, cabinets, etc of our NEW HOUSE! Yes! It will be done being built in about October! We are very excited! So, that's what's new. I guess journaling isn't that bad!

I will post Lego Land pics when the boys get home!

Fighter Pilot Hunter - Reporting for Duty

Today was my son, Hunter's birthday! He was SO excited for it. He turned SIX today and is growing up so fast! Lately he has been so into fighter pilots... we were in an Army store and he saw this fighter pilots suit and really wanted it, this was a few month ago.

Well, I went and picked it up yesterday. When he opened it today he was so thrilled, it fit him like a glove! I managed to snap some award winning shots! Check out my big boy!!!

Still Crazy!

Wow, what a whirlwind of activity lately! Do things never slow down for me? So, rather than writing a BOOK and telling you what has been going on, I will leave you with this little picture of Hunter selling cookies and lemonade!! My sweet little entrepreneur!

Golly Golly Golly, Happy New Year?

Hey! This year is shaping up to be a weird one. So many crazy things going on... I thought I would drop a note because I know I haven't written in a month.

Chrismas was great! We went home to Canada and spend the holiday season with our family there. Hunter got tons of things. Too many things. The theme this year was dinosaures. Check him out!
