Creative Design Team Call

FaithSisters.com is looking for 10 Faith Sisters to be on our NEW Creative Design Team for October, November, December and Beyond!

Do you consider yourself to be creative, team oriented and willing to share your faith with others through Faithbooking? Well, we are seeking scrapbookers like you with many different levels of expertise and styles, paper craft and digital.

It is our desire that every scrapbooker feel comfortable and blessed to record their faith and share their creativity with our community.

What you will gain:
Many Blessings as well as being a blessing to others.
Fellowship with like minded Christians.
A cute blinkie, exposure on our blog, all our praise and gratitude.

Your Commitment To Us:
Participation in our weekly challenges.
Participation on our Forum & Gallery with at least 10 posts/week in each.
Promotion of FaithSisters.com through personal use, faith-based organizations, and online scrapbooking communities.

Optional Commitments:
A rotating RAK will also be sent to Creative Design Team members.

MISC Details:
All challenges will be posted in advance.
Deadline is September 28, 07.
New Members announcement will be made by Oct 1, 2007.
We reserve the right to choose less than 10 members.

To enter the Design Team Call:
FIRST you will need to post your layout submissions to our gallery! http://www.faithsisters.com/gallery/index.php?cat=17
-Create three faith-based layouts using any products that show your best scrapbooking style as well as the way you are comfortable putting your faith on your pages (you may also submit photos of other faith-based projects that show your creativity)
*Please make sure your name is in the file title such as "sunnykohlerbelieve.jpg"
SECOND, once you do that please email designteam@faithsisters.com before September 28, 2007 to get a copy of the agreement. Receiving the agreement does not make you an automatic member. If you are selected as a CDT member then we will ask you to send in the agreement along with the requested information. (You may request an agreement before you submit your layouts.)

Faithbookers unite! Faith Sisters is an up and coming community of talented designers sharing their challenges, resources and creative inspiration to help you leave a legacy of faith in your scrapbooks.

Whether you're working on making a mini book, a family album, a scrapbook from your most recent vacation, documenting your kids' growth from year to year, or just want some ideas on how to make a great card - the Faith sisters challenges, layouts, forums, inspiration galleries and resources will help you turn those projects into legacies of faith.

Faith Sisters isn't just a website! It is a community! The faith forum gives everyone a chance to get to know each other and share ideas. The Faith Sisters Inspiration Gallery is a fabulous place to share your faithbook pages and projects as well as see the projects being submitted by others.

Every other Monday morning a new challenge is added to the Faith Sisters site! To make it even more inspiring the Faith Sisters design team will already have projects on display to help you get those creative juices flowing for that weeks challenge!

Read the challenge and then create your project! There is a readers inspiration gallery for you to post your completed projects! The Faith Sisters design team will publish a post about their favorite project from that month and you just might be the designer of that project!

The very first challenge is one of the challenges here at BellaOnline Scrapbooking - Meaningful Songs! The really awesome thing about Faith Sisters is we can all see the projects that everyone is doing for the challenge! The Faith Sisters Gallery is going to be an awesome place for faithbooking inspiration!

YES, the spider saga continues! My Writer Spider was SO HUGE because she was PREGNANT! Check out her before and afters, lol!

ANOTHER Spider! This one's yellow!

Ugh! Ya know, I love South Carolina, but these bugs are DRIVING ME CRAZY! This is the 3rd CrAzY looking spider we have seen now, check a few posts down for the other two... Do you know what kind this one is???

The female's body can be nearly 1 1/2" long not counting the legs. The male, who is rarely seen, is much smaller, between 1/4" and 3/8". He is not as brightly colored, and only has one purpose in life.

The female spins the large web with the distinctive zig-zag down the middle, and is the one people see in their gardens.

While this spider is seen all across the US and southern Canada, it isn't common in the Rocky Mountains and the Canadian Great Basin area.

Because of it's large web, that it maintains by eating it each evening and spinning a new one before dawn, people have come to enjoy them in their out of the way garden areas and co-exist with them easily.

Another update: It started to rain HARD and I went out to look at my spider. Here she is holding on to her web with her back legs. Too cool!

Here is our little guy today on his first day of 2nd grade! Uniform and everything! Whaaa! I swear when I woke him up this morning he had grown over night!

Update: Well, we just got back and he was so excited. He said, "I had a GREAT, GREAT, PERFECT day in second grade!" Yahoo!

Alvin and the Chipmunks

OK, so my son and I LOVE Alvin and the Chipmunks and we were so excited to know that they are making a movie that will be out at Christmas time! Here is the movie trailer and then below a clip of Hunter dancing and singing to the CD's that I bought for him a few years ago! He is MAKING everyone dance with him, lol! Good thing I was behind the camera!





Here it is slowed down and you can hear when Alvin talks at the end how it sounds like the real "Dave" because it's Ross Bagdasarian Jr. voice, who is the real "David Seville's" son.
