So, yes, I know.... it's not even Thanksgiving yet and we have our Christmas tree up! YES, with us being Canadian, we have already had our thanksgiving! Last month in fact... so lastnight we started putting up our Christmas decorations.
Today David and Hunter are off to ride on a real time big Thomas the Tank Engine train. We had gone on him a couple years back. Our neighbour had 2 extra tickets. I decided to stay at home and continue to decorate, hmmm, maybe take a name and of course BLOG.
Today I joined a Yahoogroup about Faithbooking for Leaders of small groups of Faithbookers. I would like to start a Faithbooking group. What is Faithbooking you ask? Well it's scrapbooking about your faith, spiritual believes, etc. I have wanted to do it for over a year now. Maybe I will start it up in January, maybe after the Summer time. We will see!

Well, I haven't written in a few days but it's been a busy time! First of all I have to tell you about this funny thing that you would only see on an LA freeway! So we were on the 10 freeway, one of the most busy freeways in the nation.... as we are zooming by on the left lane, I see a full grown tomato plant growing in the cracks on the side of the road! There was a big honkin' tomato growing on it, ONLY in LA! So I said to David, and I coin the phrase, "Now that's somethin' to BLOG about!"
So, remember a few days ago when I was asking what exercise was? Well, I've been doing it! Yesterday at the YMCA while Hunter was at gymnastics I got on the Eliptical, my new favorite machine and I burned 300 callories in 45 minutes. It was great! Today, I let Hunter ride his bike to school while I walked, as soon as he got to the end of the block, I began running. So, 6 blocks there and 6 blocks back.... I am on a roll, lol! How sad!

A Day in the Life of...
It all began when our 5 year old
son Hunter cried in the middle of the night as a result of an ear infection and
said "Daddy.... I'm a ruined man." Ever since then, I realized that I needed to
get this and many other choice moments in life down. Somewhere. Might as well be

Only the Beginning...
Friday, and I am running through an inventory of the week. This is Hunter's
second full week of kindergarten. We're halfway through September 2005. It's
been several weeks since Hurricane Katrina's damage landed on our shores. We're
gonna start recording sessions for He Reigns next week. Our family could not go
bowling at Pickwick last night as we now found out that Sunday through Thursday
are league nights, which means we gotta get there earlier.
Karma and I discovered that Hunter can REALLY sell chocolates for the school
fundraiser. I mean, the whole box of 30 chocolates was sold in one evening.
Karma and I bought 4, but the rest was him.

Where did Hunter figure out to use that

Even Barry Burnett, a well known Real Estate broker came up to Hunter and

Hearing The hum of David's computer...
Yesterday's review and what's on the horizon...
Yesterday was David's birthday as you read yesterday. I went generally well. He loved his new Portfolio Briefcase and Wallet. We went to Black Angus for dinner and had some great food. While taking pictures of David and Hunter opening presents, Hunter got cranky and wanted to put his finger in his nose for the last picture. I got frustrated with him and sent him to his room. After that, I put the dogs to the poarch and Jazzmyne snapped and I told her to shut up... the mood was yucky. I sat down with David and we talked a little bit before I got Hunter from his room.
After we got done with dinner, we went to COSTCO so that David could pick something else out for his birthday. We looked around the whole store and he ended up only getting a DVD. Hunter and I made off like bandits! We got a new HUGE Christmas train to go around one of our Christmas trees... it is very cool and I am sure that it will be a shining moment every Christmas from now on with our family!
Today, it is early. 7:49am is what my computer says right now. *** This just in.... David called me from work just now. He was overwhelmed ecause he woke up and hour before he was supposed to, to meet with his friend Ross for a study. Ross wasn't there... David realized that he wasn't there because David came and hour early. You see I haven't changed our room clock back for the Day Light Savings yet, LOL! David's watch clock stopped too. Hehehe! Oh well! WHERE WAS I?
So, today Hunter reaaaaly wants to put that Christmas train together. BUT I have some people coming over, one is a small child so I am recommending to Hunter that we wait until I pick him up after Pre-School. As I type this, I am reading it out loud to him. He is having a coniption fit! Hahaha! Poor little guy! We will put it together AFTER school.
I must take Hunter monthly school fees today of $250. After I pick him up, I am bringing him with me to COSTCO where I will get my eyes checked. They have been twitching for the past month. It's kind of weird... I don't like it. I am getting old I guess and I sit in front of the darn computer too much! Well, until later....

Happy Halloween! & Happy Birthday David!
We had a GREAT Halloween this year! Hunter dressed up as Buzz Lightyear and had a riot! We got great pictures for his scrapbook and I can't wait to do them up!
Happy birthday to my loving husband today! He is 36 years old! Wooo! 40 is in reach now and so far away from where I am! My guy does not seem 36!
I will post more later when I figure out this whole BLOG thing. It's my first one you see and there is so much to do work wise and getting ready for tonight when we take Daddy out for his birthday!
From the Wise Oprah.comSo what this all means is that I need to reinvent myself and get back on track. I will be using the Oprah resource to help me take my life back to where I am happy with myself fully!
-The "Who Am I?" Journal-
Who am I? It's a lifelong question. It's not about the stuff…"I'm a mom," or "I'm a good employee"—it's "When I was born, what was the plan for my life?"
Write in this journal every night. There will be some nights where you are going to write, "I don't know." But if you work on this question every day you are going to start recognizing that it is this very question that you've been avoiding in your life. You've stopped yourself from feeling. This is about getting those feelings to return. It's going to be a struggle and confusing to really start pondering, "Who Am I?" but don't minimize what could happen if you make a commitment every night to be writing something about who you are. -
Create a "What I Enjoy" List
As simple as this may sound, it is very important for you to make one. This list should include everything that brings you pleasure and passion in life. If you aren't sure what brings you joy right now, think back to what used to bring you joy? This may require some exploration, but what did you do when you were a little kid that brought a smile on your face? Did you used to go horseback riding? Walk outside in a garden? Whatever it may be, write it down. This list doesn't mean that you have to do them every day. It's just to make you aware that there are things in the world that do make you feel alive. If you are able to do something you enjoy at least once a week, do it and help yourself feel alive in that moment. You have to behave the way you want to feel before you feel the way you are behaving! It's about opening yourself up to a new experience, or something that you stopped doing. Try to discover what it feels like to look or feel differently from the "not enoughness" you have been putting into your head for a long time now. When you start doing this you will launch yourself back into aliveness! -
What should I write about?
Writing helps clarify feelings. Choose a topic each day, and let your mind go. Start writing words. And follow your feelings.
•Did something happen to you today that made you upset or joyful?
•What did you discover about yourself or the world?
•Is there something from the past that you wish you could take back or do over to make it right?
•What are your needs?
•What are your desires?
•What are you most afraid of doing?
•What are you afraid of not doing?
•What are you curious about?
•What issues are unresolved for you?
•What do you love to do, experience, and feel?
•What kinds of things in your life do you want to build on?
•Find a photo or an image. What does it make you feel?

Today is David's birthday! He is 37 today and it has been a great day! We got him a Sony Playstation 2 with 3 games plus 2 games for Hunter. etc... etc... Yesterday, of course was Halloween. Hunter was supposed to dress up as Sully, the monster from Monsters Inc. but the costume was tooo hot for the So Cal weather, so he was much happier in his batman costume from two years ago! David and I went as Guenivere and Prince Phillip. We had lots of fun and people were so impressed with our costumes, lol!
Speaking of today... Hunter and I got into the SUV to go to school and it was totally dead! It would not start at all and we were already cutting it close to get to school as it was. SOOOOO, we hopped on our razor scooters and off we went, lol! I on my pink one and Hunter on his black one. Yes, we did get looks as we were scooting along, or should I say that I got the look, hahaha! Anyway, we got there just in time, his class was waling down the hall to go to music class, I didn't have to sign in as late, woohoo! and since I am like 50lbs overweight, no thanks to all these invetro drugs, I felt like I was going to die! Eeesssshhhhh!!!
At 4pm I tool Hunter to his new swimming class, as he had passed into the second level last week! He now has the best instructor in the whole Burbank YMCA, I for one was very impressed with Lance, his swimming teacher and was very please with how well Hunter did. One of Hunter's goals is to become an Olympic Medalist!
Anyway, all went well, I made David one of his fave meals, Bullseye bacon, cheese burgers and we had a mint chocolate cake from Coldstone, YUM! It's been a pretty good day, all in all.
